Miss Bitch Latex (April 2025)
Miss Bitch Latex is an experimental fashion film produced and edited by Madison Roach, showcasing designer Macy Kai’s thesis collection for the Parsons School of Design. Blurring the boundaries between rugged edge and high-gloss sophistication, this film is a visceral exploration of latex as a material not only of fetish and function, but of glamour. Through stark visuals, tactile close-ups, and a rhythmic interplay of shadow and sheen, the film elevates latex beyond the expected—highlighting its sculptural power and unexpected elegance. Bold, sleek, and unapologetically avant-garde, Miss Bitch Latex redefines how we see and feel fashion.

Momento Mori (September 2023)
"Momento Mori represents the essence of how fast life can be, however, it is up to us to morph it into the way we envision it. My film focuses on who I am: someone who is constantly changing but can adapt and admire their surroundings as they go. ‘Memento Mori’ translates into ‘Remember Death’ in Latin, I felt that this title would be best suited for my project because this is something we must always remember when going through life. With this message, we can show compassion, empathy, rage, and sadness towards other people and live life truthfully. I use lots of color in this film, I wanted to emphasize color to symbolize a multi-dimensional personality, as well as showcasing the ability for two things to coexist at once. The reds are supposed to represent the present time, as well as the transition of time and the passion of life. The blues are meant to symbolize the past and the inevitable sadness that comes with consciousness and change. The utilization of multiple forms of media is meant to showcase the rapid advancements of technology throughout someone's life in the early 21st century."
This film was created as a midterm project for my Experimental Filmmaking course at San Francisco State University.
